Clancy hits jackpot to win Peak comp

Alan Clancy hit top form again to secure victory in The Peak Restaurant sponsored competition. Alan recorded  62 nett to be the clear winner by three strokes from Aidan Given. The results were as follows :

Foley constructs great score to claim the Wharf

Gareth Foley with 38pts secured his first mens competition to claim the second open competition of the week. Apparently he took another five euro of playing partners Murphy and Foley There was large turnout with the scoring difficult as conditions were breezy. The results were as follows

Eammon McGloin does Kinlough proud to win Presidents day.

Eammon McGloin smashed the field away with 44 pts to win Peter Clarkes’ President Day. This is Eammons first Major and he was extremely delighted at his achievement that he spoke at length when he recieved his prize. Bundoran launches second open week in August

Bundoran Golf Club have announced their second open week in August. Patrons are advised that these are the last open events at Bundoran for this golfing season so early booking is advisable. The events are as follows

Tues 19th Aug Single Open Stroke

Wed 20th Aug Single Open Stableford

Thurs 21st Aug Mixed Foursomes

Fri 22nd Aug  Single Open Stroke

Times for these opens can be booked on-line, via email or simply phoning the pro shop. This is agreat chance to play the the new holes at a fantastic price of €25 for single events

Sweeney hits the field for 64 in Meehan sponsored event

Jim Gavigan hit a magnificent 63 nett to retain the well supported David Robinson pen single stroke in friday 25th July. Jim needed the good score as Eddie Lynch was only one stroke behind. There was nearly 200 players who enjoyed great weather all day. The results were as follows :

    The annual open mixed foursomes was won by Kathleen and Ian McDaid with a marvellous 66.5 nett. The event was recieved a high turnout with over 65 pairings competing. The results are as follows.
