Local Rules

• Out of bounds:
  • A ball lying outside the internal wire fencing of the course and white markers on the course.
  • In the Hotel Gardens.
  • On the tarmac area or concreted area to the right of and behind the 9th green.
  • The carpark to the right of the 10th tee.
  • Tarmac area behind 18th green.
• Open drains are lateral water hazards. Rule 26.1 applies.
• The ball shall be played as it lies, through the green, with the following exceptions:
  • A ball coming to rest on the wrong green must be lifted and dropped at the nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole, without penalty.
  • Circled areas are "Ground Under Repair" Rule 25.1.
  • While playing the 7th hole, a ball coming to rest on the roadway to the Hotel may be dropped back, not nearer the hole, without penalty.
  • Directional markers behind the 11th & 17th greens, all shelters, seats, distance markers, sprinkler heads, manhole covers, bells on 8th & 14th holes, screens at 14th & 17th tees, and lamp standards on avenue leading to Hotel and Clubhouse are immmovable obstructions. Rule 24 applies.
  • Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions.
  • A ball coming to rest on pathway to the rear of the 18th green and 1st tee may be dropped off, not nearer the hole, without penalty.
